Redrow Southeast re-launches £10k community fund

Redrow South East has re-launched its official Community Fund for 2026. The £10k fund, which will be split into two rounds , is launching for the third year, and will continue its support of the community work led by groups, schools, organisations and individuals across Kent and East Sussex.

The initiative aims to help local organisations and individuals at the heart of their communities access the equipment, resources, and support they need to continue their valuable work that makes a lasting difference to groups and individuals across the region.

Following increased demand, Redrow South East’s Community Fund will host two funding rounds over the next 12 months, totalling £10k, with the first £5k fund launching this month. Local organisations can apply for a share of the £10k, helping to support a variety of local community working including helping to supply new books for school children, new kit for a sports team, or even craft supplies for a youth group.

Over the past two years, Redrow South East has supported almost 20 community organisations, schools, and individuals through its Community Fund, helping to bring a wide range of local projects to life across Kent and East Sussex.

A new round of funding will then launch at the beginning of 2027 as Redrow South East continues its ongoing commitment to supporting local communities across Kent and East Sussex.

Redrow Southeast Community Fund 2026
Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the first 2026 funding round of the Barratt Redrow South East Community Fund. A total of £5,000 is available in this round, forming part of Barratt Redrow South East’s £10,000 Community Fund across two rounds over the next 12 months.

Introduction

1. The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to set out the principles, criteria and processes that govern the Barratt Redrow South East Community Fund 2026.
2. Barratt Redrow South East is making a total of £10,000 available through two Community Fund rounds over the next 12 months. A total of £5,000 is available in this first funding round.
3. The £5,000 available in the first round will be allocated among successful applicants at Barratt Redrow South East’s discretion. There is no fixed number of successful applicants and individual awards may vary.
4. Applicants are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions by submitting an application.
5. Barratt Redrow South East will only consider one application per project in each Community Fund application round.

 

Eligibility

6. At its own discretion, Barratt Redrow South East and/or Red Consultancy will determine the eligibility of an application.
7. The applicant accepts that Barratt Redrow South East’s decision is final regarding the eligibility of the applicant and the application.




Who is eligible to apply?

8. The Fund is open to projects, groups, organisations, charities and individuals.
9. All applicants must be aged 18 or over and live in the United Kingdom.
10. The Fund is available for projects and activities that benefit communities in Kent and/or East Sussex.
11. The Fund is available for projects that need the funding upon release of the funds and is not available for future projects.




Who is not eligible to apply?

12. The Fund is not available for private gain, political activities, loan repayment, or projects that solely benefit one individual rather than the wider community. Barratt Redrow South East will determine the eligibility and purpose of an application at its own discretion.
13. Barratt Redrow South East reserves the right to disqualify applicants where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent activity or the use of false or irregular information in connection with an application.
14. Applications received after the closing date will not be eligible and will not be processed or considered.
15. Applications must be made by email with a completed Application Form attached. Applications received by another method, including post, telephone or in person, will not be eligible and will not be considered.
16. If an applicant or project does not meet the eligibility criteria, the application will not be processed or considered.

 

Application Form (‘the Form’)

17. By applying, the applicant confirms that they are eligible to apply for the Fund. Barratt Redrow South East or Red Consultancy may require an applicant to provide reasonable proof of eligibility.
18. Applications for this funding round open on 1 September 2026 and close at midnight on 30 September 2026.
19. Applicants must complete the Form and return it to [email protected]. Applicants should include “South East Community Fund 2026” in the subject line.
20. Supporting documents will not be accepted, so applicants should ensure all relevant information is included in the Form.
21. When completing the Form, applicants must provide accurate and truthful information about the project, organisation, group or individual applying.
22. Once an application has been submitted, amendments to the Form and/or material changes to the intended project cannot be made without Barratt Redrow South East’s written consent.
23. Barratt Redrow South East accepts no responsibility for difficulties experienced in applying or for applications that are not received for any reason.

Outcome of the Application

25. Barratt Redrow South East aims to notify applicants of the outcome within one month of the closing date. If there are delays, the Fund administrators will keep applicants updated.
26. Applications will be reviewed by a panel of representatives from Barratt Redrow South East, supported by Red Consultancy, who will decide how the available funding is allocated.
27. The judging panel’s decision is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into regarding its decision.
28. Applicants acknowledge that submitting an application does not guarantee funding.
29. Submitted Forms will not be returned.

 

Successful Applications

30. The amount granted to a successful applicant will be limited to the amount confirmed by Barratt Redrow South East in its notification of a successful application.
31. Funding is non-transferable, non-assignable and non-negotiable.
32. Successful applicants must use the funding only for the project or activity described in the Form, unless Barratt Redrow South East agrees otherwise in writing.
33. Funding will be paid as a one-off payment. The amount awarded is fixed and Barratt Redrow South East will not be liable for additional funding if a project exceeds its anticipated costs.
34. Successful applicants must maintain clear and accurate records showing how the funding is spent and provide these to Barratt Redrow South East if reasonably requested.
35. Barratt Redrow South East reserves the right to request repayment of all or part of the funding if a successful applicant: (i) does not spend the funding as described in the Form; (ii) breaches these Terms and Conditions; (iii) ceases to operate as the relevant organisation, project or group, where applicable; (iv) becomes insolvent; or (v) acts in a way that could reasonably damage Barratt Redrow South East’s reputation or brand.
36. In circumstances outside Barratt Redrow South East’s reasonable control, Barratt Redrow South East reserves the right to delay payment without liability
37. Barratt Redrow South East will not be liable for circumstances beyond its reasonable control that prevent the Fund from being fulfilled, successful applicants from being selected, or an award from being paid or used.
38. If Barratt Redrow South East has been unable to make payment to a successful applicant after making reasonable efforts for 28 working days, it may award the funding to an alternative applicant without liability to the first applicant.

 

Promotion/PR

39. Successful applicants will be required to take part in reasonable PR/promotional activity relating to the Community Fund, or consent to their project being included in Barratt Redrow South East publicity, for a period of three years from the date they are notified of their successful application.
40. Successful applicants will be required to provide reasonable information about their project for PR/promotional purposes as requested.
41. Where applicable, successful applicants grant Barratt Redrow South East permission to use their organisation name, logo, trade marks and relevant intellectual property for reasonable publicity connected with the Fund, subject to any necessary third-party rights.
42. By applying for the Fund, successful applicants grant Barratt Redrow South East permission to share and use content relating to social media mentions or tags concerning the Fund and the successful application including but not limited to the obligations set out at clause 46.
43. Successful applicants are responsible for obtaining any necessary consents, permissions and rights from third parties for PR/promotional activity.

 

Data (applicable to all applicants)

44. Barratt Redrow South East and Red Consultancy will comply with applicable data protection laws, including the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR, in relation to personal information obtained through the Fund.
45. Personal information collected through the Fund will be used for administrative or operational purposes connected with the Fund and applicants’ interactions with Barratt Redrow South East, including communicating with applicants and administering awards.
46. Applicants providing photography or video in connection with their application or PR/promotional activity confirm that they have the necessary rights and consents for the material provided, including appropriate parental or guardian consent where required for images of children under 18 years of age. Further, the applicants providing photographic imagery and videography grant Barratt Redrow South East permission to use such material in connection with the Fund if so required.

General (applicable to all applicants)

49. Barratt Redrow South East reserves the right to terminate, amend or modify the Fund or these Terms and Conditions where reasonably necessary.
50. Any material changes to these Terms and Conditions will be communicated to affected applicants using the email address supplied in the Form. Applicants wishing to make material changes to their application must seek Barratt Redrow South East’s written consent.
51. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be unenforceable or invalid by a court, the remaining provisions will not be affected.
52. These Terms and Conditions and any dispute arising from or in connection with them will be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
53. Barratt Redrow South East will not be liable solely because the Fund is terminated, cancelled, amended or postponed where this is necessary due to circumstances outside its reasonable control.
54. To the extent permitted by law, Barratt Redrow South East accepts no liability for costs, expenses, losses, damages, liabilities, injury or disappointment arising from participation in the Fund or use of any funding awarded, including indirect or consequential loss.
55. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
