When do we collect personal information about you?

Annual General Meeting (AGM)
We have a legal obligation under the Companies Act to hold an AGM. If you register for the AGM, we will process your personal information in order to enable you to exercise your rights as a shareholder in connection with the AGM.
If you authorise someone else to exercise your rights pertaining to the AGM, we will process their personal data to ensure the orderly conduct of the AGM.
Audio recordings of the AGM may be taken to assist with recording of minutes.
Barratt Redrow commissions a registrar to process your personal information in connection with your shares and the conduct of the AGM.
Who we will share your information with?
We may share your information within the Barratt Redrow group in order to provide you with the products or with the information you have requested and if we have a legitimate interest in doing so, for example, to respond to your query or feedback or where you have agreed to us doing so.
If you register for the email alert service, you will need to provide your name and email address. This information, in addition to the visitor’s IP address, will be held by Investis in Ireland and may be accessed by Investis Corporate Communications PVT. Ltd (a subsidiary of Investis) from its premises in India for administration of the email alert service. The information will not be used for any other purpose; it will be stored securely and will not be shared with third parties. By registering for the email alert service, you consent to this use of your email address.
Your information will be kept private and confidential, except where we are obliged/permitted to share it with third parties by law to meet our compliance obligations, to comply with other laws and regulations and to share with regulators or other authorities that the Barratt Redrow group are subject to. This may include using it to help detect or prevent crime (including money laundering or other crimes). We will only do this on the basis that it is needed to comply with a legal obligation.
How long do we store the personal data for?
In line with the Data Protection Legislation, we only keep your personal information for the length of time we need it to:
- Deliver our services to you;
- Meet our business needs; and
- Meet our legal obligations.
We retain information to comply with legal or regulatory requirements or for our legitimate purposes, such as responding to enquiries and may need to sometimes keep it for a longer period e.g. responding to requests from regulators etc. If we do not need to retain it for as long, we may delete, destroy or anonymise it sooner.
