Vicky Hesson has joined the Barratt Redrow Executive Committee as the new Group Land and Planning Director.
Vicky joins Barratt Redrow from Gladman Developments where she was CEO, having helped to grow the business from its inception in 2013 into the country’s largest land promoter. In 2022, Gladman Developments was acquired by Barratt Redrow for £250m.
Prior to Gladman, Vicky worked in land and planning roles at major housebuilders including Persimmon, Miller Homes, Galliford Try and, lastly, Redrow.
Vicky said: “I am delighted to be stepping into this role at such a pivotal time, with planning momentum building across the industry. It is exciting to help shape our exceptional strategic land portfolio, driving forward land acquisitions to support the group’s continued success and growth ambitions.”
The moves follows the retirement of Philip Barnes after twelve years with the business, with Vicky joining the Barratt Redrow Executive Committee and reporting into Chief Executive David Thomas.
