Introducing the Barratt Redrow Foundation

We have launched the Barratt Redrow Foundation, previously known as the Barratt Foundation, to expand our charitable programmes and to take a bold step forward in how we support our communities.
The Barratt Redrow Foundation aims to help communities across the UK to thrive, focusing our support on children, young people, and those most disadvantaged.
In becoming the Barratt Redrow Foundation, all of our charitable programmes and partnerships will be rolled out to all our colleagues and Divisions of Barratt Redrow, including:
- Our national charity partnerships
- Matched funding
- Local giving via the Community Fund
David Thomas, Chief Executive of Barratt Redrow, said: “Charitable giving at Barratt Redrow continues to go from strength to strength. I am so proud of the reach and impact of the Barratt Redrow Foundation, who are helping to build stronger communities for now and for the future.
“Together, we've made a meaningful difference to thousands of children, young people, all across the country, and we are committed to continue to do so in the future.”
Since 2021, the Foundation has proudly donated over £17.2m to charities and good causes:
- 1,798 charities supported to date
- 32% of Barratt Redrow colleagues are engaged in charitable activity
- 544 charities funded nationwide in FY24
- 667 local communities supported in FY24
- 104,415 children and young people reached in FY24
The Foundation has already made significant contributions, including shifting its approach to grant-giving by establishing longer-term partnerships with six charities that closely align with its vision to support children, young people, and those most disadvantaged. Through a £900,000 investment over the next three years, the Barratt Redrow Foundation will support: National Numeracy, For Baby’s Sake Trust, Digital Poverty Alliance, Become, The Girls’ Network, and the Warm Welcome Campaign.
Meanwhile, our long-standing partnerships with organisations such as The Outward Bound Trust, Whizz-Kidz, Bookmark Reading Charity, PLace2Be, Magic Breakfast, Street League, Onside and CleanupUK, have a lasting impact and help create opportunities for employees to get involved.
