- Barratt Developments appoints new group HR director
Barratt Developments plc has appointed Nick Worrall as group HR director, replacing Rob Tansey who has retired. Nick becomes a member of the Barratt executive committee and will report to chief executive David Thomas.
Nick joins Barratt from Countryside Properties, where he was group HR director from 2014. He has previously held HR director positions in the retail, energy and financial services sectors, in a career spanning over 20 years. Nick is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and has a degree in modern languages.
His work will see him continue the award-winning people strategy for the group, with succession and talent management, diversity and inclusion and employee health and wellbeing his priorities.
David Thomas, chief executive of Barratt Developments, said: “We’re very pleased to have Nick join us from Countryside Properties as he brings exceptional HR director experience, particularly within the housebuilding industry.
