Barratt London, one of the capital’s leading residential developers, announces the appointment of Tom Olsen as regional finance director.
Joining Barratt London from the Berkeley Group, Olsen was divisional finance director of the largest of the Berkeley operating divisions and St Edward, the joint venture between the Berkeley Group and Prudential.
Olsen served for five years in the Irish Guards, leaving as a Captain in 2002. Following a stint with KPMG, Olsen joined Glide Technologies as finance and operations director prior to his Berkeley appointment.
Olsen comments: “I am delighted to be part of the Barratt London team which has such a strong track record in designing, building and selling complex housing schemes across the capital. This year alone Barratt London will be launching eight new developments, delivering thousands of new homes for London.”
Alastair Baird, regional managing director said: “Last year was a record breaking year for Barratt London as we increased completions by 20% across the Capital and we’re delighted to have appointed someone of Tom’s calibre. He will play an important part in delivering Barratt London’s plans for the future in terms of further growth and efficiency.’
